Growing up I was drawn to art and music and to this day I am a passionate musician (electric bass), photographer and gardener.  I believe these activities are symbiotic with my work in architecture because I believe architecture is universal in scope and importance.  I consider every human sign on the landscape or environment to be a form of architecture and anyone who purposefully changes the perception of a space – a painted wall or even a simple ploughed field – is creating architecture. 

  To me, success in architecture means helping people realize their own personal perfect habitat for work or enjoyment.  It’s discovering their ideal group of colours, or selecting materials that reflect their exact style and personality.  In this I find my greatest satisfaction but also my greatest challenges because the correct solution is different for each individual.  Personality and lifestyle, cultural values, tastes and needs must dictate wise architectural choices.  Combining these considerations with innovation, creativity and technology is my passion.
